Elaine is going to be celebrating the start of her 20th year as a Realtor in May and owes her success to her devotion to her clients and making sure from start to finish they have a smooth experience in buying or selling a home. She still feels extremely passionate about her work and the communities she services. She is part of a successful real estate dynasty. Her mother, Claire Ehrenkranz was a Realtor for 30 years, inspiring Elaine by telling her "real estate is in your blood." Elaine was raised in Maplewood and now lives in West Orange with her husband, Jerry Kaplan and their two sons, Harris and Max. Harris is in his sophomore year at New York University and her younger son, Max is a Junior at West Orange High School and will be looking at colleges this Spring. Elaine is very involved in the community which started many years ago when her children were young.
She has achieved the NJCAR Circle of Excellence Award consistently since being licensed in 1991. In 2005 she was the #1 selling Realtor out of the 125 agents she worked with. Elaine's formula for success has always been to carefully listen to her clients needs, in buying or selling a home, as well as, in all aspects of community life.
In her spare time, Elaine enjoys yoga, travel, reading and entertaining. She is known for her wonderful cooking and effortless hospitality.
